Fungus

The MNHC houses approximately 800 fungus specimens collected from the UCSC campus and surrounding regions of the county by former museum curator Tonya Haff. It also includes a few specimens collected by David Arora, a former UCSC student and one of Santa Cruz’s first serious macrofungal enthusiasts. The collection is currently being revised and expanded by local fungus expert Christian Schwarz.
